INFRASTRUCTURE The building of infrastructure is a necessary component of development and it is an inevitable condition of sustainable social and economic development. The Fares Foundation has undertaken its own projects in this area as well as offered support to municipalities and other local institutions in their efforts to develop the infrastructure of their communities. The Foundation has been active in:   building and asphalting new roads and rehabilitating old roads; providing street lighting, sidewalks and other necessities.   building agricultural irrigation canals and agricultural roads.   participating in the construction of agricultural refrigerators.
