Commemorating the philosopher Emmanuel Kant
On December 15th, 2004, the Arab Philosophy Union organized a conference, in commemoration of Emmanuel Kant, within the campus of the Lebanese University / North branch / Kibbat Tripoli, under the sponsorship of H.E. Mr. Issam Fares, represented by Dr. Paul Salem, Director General of Fares Foundation. Among the participants, the governor of the North, Nassif Kallouch, the President of the Municipality of Tripoli and President of the Union of El Faïhaa Municipalities, the engineer Rachid Jamali, the Dean of the Faculty of Literature, the Director of the North branch of the Lebanese University, as well as several Arab and foreign professors, researchers, and intellectuals.
