Launching the restoration and rehabilitation workshop of the Bazerkan Market in Tripoli
On Wednesday May 5th, 2004, Dr. Paul Salem, representing his Excellency Mr. Issam Fares and the General Samir Shaarani, head of the Municipality of Tripoli, met with the merchants and dwellers of the Bazerkan Market in Tripoli, as well as with several community figures in a ceremony consecrated to announce the launching of the restoration and rehabilitation project of the historical Bazerkan Market, with the financing of Fares Foundation. The bid was attributed to two companies Batitech & Integral which joint their efforts to implement this project within 8 months at the utmost, without closing shops.
