Rehabilitating disabled people in their environment in Akkar
On September 25th, 2004, Fares Foundation sponsored, in Tebnine village, a meeting with the working group over the implementation of a project for the rehabilitation of the disabled in their environment in Akkar, supported by the Foundation itself and implemented by the Association of the Disabled Forum in the North, a year ago, in the presence of the Director General Dr. Paul Salem and the President of the Forum Nabil Abed, as well as political and social figures from El Qaytah and El Jurd regions. At this occasion, the results of the first part of the present vital, development and humanitarian field project, as well as its impact on the evolution of the local community in Akkar were presented, discussed, and evaluated.
